Amber Carrillo offers unique handmade crafts under the pseudonym One Shabby Chick and will be setting up (pop-up) shop at the Honolulu Night + Market tomorrow in the “Pinch of Salt” warehouse. A fabric fanatic, Amber creates quilts, iPad covers, Kindle covers, camera straps, pillows and more.

Tomorrow night, the hunt’s on! Nonstop Honolulu will be hosting an Instragram photo contest, and you could be the lucky winner of a $200 gift certificate to The Whole Ox Butcher & Deli!

Here’s how it will work:

• Pick up Nonstop Honolulu’s scavenger hunt form from 6:00 pm onwards, where you’ll find a list of what you’ll need to shoot and post on Instagram to be eligible for the grand prize
• To enter, snap away, posting at least one photo for each category on your personal Instagram account (you can include up to two categories per photo)
• Remember, you must use the hashtag #ourkakaako and also include @ourkakaako on each post; the winner must also follow @OurKakaako and @NonstopHonolulu on Instagram to qualify
• After getting all necessary shots, submit your form at the Nonstop Honolulu booth at Night Market
• A random winner will be picked from the completed forms, and the grand-prize Instagrammer will be notified the next day

Two more vendors on board for this month’s #HNLNightMarket: Petal & Piper clutches are hand made in Kailua, Oahu. Each is a unique explosion of color, perfect for a fancy night out or a quick trip to the market.

Loopty Loop creates one-of-a-kind scarves and accessories (headbands and belts), handcrafted in Hawaii from once loved and adored t-shirts. Loopty Loop products add a pop of color, make a loud statement and offer a simple touch of style in seconds.

Artists from 808 Urban will be selling recycled spray can art, t-shirts, original paintings and photographs and hand-crafted ceramics at this Saturday’s Honolulu Night Market. 808 Urban is a Hawai‘i based collective of artists and community organizers that provide workshops tin Art in Public, music, dance, cultural and entrepreneurial education for youth and young adults to become stewards of the arts in the spirit of aloha.

Delicious hand-folded wontons from Paul’s Poppers will be available at this weekend’s Honolulu Night + Market. On the #RogueChristmas menu, Spinach and Artichoke Poppers, Three-Cheese Jalapeno Poppers and new Spicy Crab Poppers.

The official Honolulu Night Market after-party will take at CoXist Studios at 331 Keawe Street from 11:00pm – 2:00 am. DJ Mr. Nick will spin, Navid Najafi will emcee and Enrique Zender of Mi Casa Entertainment will hit percussion (conga, djembe, bongos). CoXist Studios is a collaborative community space and event venue redesigned and remodeled by UH architecture students.

Petit Suisse Crepes will be serving up their sweet and savory crepes at the Honolulu Night Market. Made with amour and fresh, locally grown ingredients – ooh la la!
