Saturday, February 16th marked the return of Honolulu Night Market. Just in time for PowWow2013 Weekend. And this sure was an ARTrageous party. Artists from around Hawaii and the world gathered in Kakaako for this must see spectacle, and we wrapped it all up with an awesome Honolulu Night Market block party.
Live entertainment, Great food, Another fantastic fashion show styled by Fighting Eel and Ava Sky, Tons of amazing retail vendors, and of course more live art than you can shake a paintbrush at.
We also unveiled our new Art Cards. Collect them all, or use them as currency from some of your favorite Honolulu Night Market vendors. The choice is yours.

Come check out the Pinch of Salt warehouse for unique, locally made finds at the Honolulu Night + Market. Retail vendors include:
The vibrant, revitalized streets of Kaka‘ako will provide an artful backdrop for some exciting performances Saturday night at the Honolulu Night Market. Jason Tom, Hawaii’s human beatbox and proclaimed “walking, talking instrument” will be performing and Samadhi Hawaii, a local aerial dance performance troupe, will set poetry into motion on the streets under the direction Nicole Young, as well as Adult Company performers, including Co. Director Andrea Torres. Kalalea Fire, a world class fire dance troupe, will also be lighting up the night with a fire show that mixes Tahitian, African, Hip-Hop and Middle Eastern dance with martial arts, Chinese Opera and Hula.
Other performances will include Cherry Blossom Cabaret, Hawaii’s premier burlesque review. These ladies do more than shimmy and shake out of their costumes: they also dance act and sing, while incorporating what they do best: tease. Miss Catwings is a cat of all trades, lives for music, art, dance, while Ella Flaunt is a songbird whose music never fails to enchant. Then there’s Professor Pandemonium’s circus sideshow, Hawaii’s first and only – only at Honolulu Night Market!
Honolulu Night Market will be jumping on Saturday night in the newly revitalized Kaka‘ako neighborhood, thanks to PowWow’s talented artists and the neighorhood’s brand new murals. In the warehouse, Aloha Sand Company will be offering their unique, multi-dimensional, children’s t-shirts that were created using real Hawaiian sand, while Noteworthy will have upscale, street-contemporary menswear for sale. And Crappy Kids will be out on the street selling their unique t-shirts, with live music and artists signings.
Koi Lunchwagon will roll up to the Honolulu Night Market on Saturday night in Kakaako delivering gourmet grindz like furikake mahimahi, garlic chicken and more. Stop by the Olay Thai tent for curries, basil chicken, spring rolls, and cap it all off with a Thai iced tea.
Hawaii’s first and only gourmet popcorn truck, Island Popper, will be making its Honolulu Night Market debut this Saturday night. Or if you’re in the mood for Italian, stop by Onda Pasta’s tent for handmade fresh pasta without any preservatives or additives, just like Grandma used to make. Jonesin’ for Japanese? Okonomi Grinds will have Japanese savory pancakes with a variety of ingredients — all at Honolulu Night Market, this Saturday!
