Love art? Then this is the event for you! Honolulu Night Market is partnering with the Present Project who will be taking over the Pinch of Salt retail warehouse in a month-long artist residency. The two warehouses which total 5,000 square feet will feature site-specific work from artists all over the country. It’s going to be a once in a lifetime showcase, we hope you’re just as excited as we are!
We wrapped up the summer with an event focused on music and performing arts…and we hope you enjoyed it! Across multiple stages, a variety of bands filled Cooke Street with their sounds! The Pinch of Salt warehouse also got in on the performance action, with the flashmob-style performance by Maori Haka Group, Rongomau.
In addition to our many street performers, The Still & Moving Center also did yoga acrobatics demonstrations.
Then, all the way on the Makai side of Cooke Street was another crowd favorite, Songbird & The Colors. The band drew a big ‘hana hou’ that had everyone on the street dancing!
With over 20 retailers in the Pinch of Salt warehouse, everyone (including your keiki) will have something to shop for! Little Dew Drops will be showcasing a line of hand-painted organic infant and children’s clothing.
Popular Ala Moana boutique, Valerie Joseph Boutique will be selling their fresh and flirty pieces designed for women of all ages.
Inspired by the beauty of nature, Stephanie Boinay Art is full of bright and vivid colors! Browse her work and purchase giclee prints, matted prints and canvases.
Come early and make the Su-V Expressions Flower Market Pop-up your first stop. Pick from an array of flowers like sunflowers and lavender and watch as Sue arranges them into beautiful bouquets! It’s going to be their final night market appearance this summer season, so don’t miss out!
You can also browse through the one-of-a-kind wood pieces from Nak on Wood in the Pinch of Salt warehouse. Designed and constructed by the Nakamura brothers, items range from furniture pieces to wood frames.
